MEMBER WORK HOURS

All bonded members are expected to contribute a total of 8 work hours throughout the season.  Since SWSTC is a Cooperative Club, this means we all have an interest in the club and our success depends on the contributions of each member.

In order to keep our expenses down, it is imperative that most of the necessary work needed throughout the club is completed by members, rather than outside contractors. This work hour requirement can be fulfilled by way of our annual Spring & Fall clean up days, hosting social events, participating in committees/board positions, etc.

Members that do not fulfill their required work hours are assessed $50 for each hour (up to 8) per season.

A pre-season buy-out option is also available at a reduced price for those that do not want to participate in work hours.

Submission of work hours is subject to board member approval. It is very important that members do not take advantage of this submission tool. We are an honest club. Please keep it that way.

If reimbursement is needed for items purchased, reach out to the board member they were previously discussed with.

Club work hours cannot be completed by volunteering at swim meets. The swim team volunteer requirement is a separate requirement for swim team families.
