Our Sharks Swim Team provides a fun and memorable experience for all swimmers! All kids through age 18 are encouraged to join! No prior swim team experience is necessary. Any swimmer 18 or under as of May 31, 2024 and a graduating senior from high school in 2024 or younger is eligible.

*Swimmers must compete in at least 3 dual meets to qualify for Championships. Swimmers with Swim Team only memberships must compete in at least 4 dual meets to qualify for Championships.
ABOUT OUR COACHES:
ROB MICHAUD
Coach Rob grew up in Manchester, CT and started swimming when he was six years old at Glenbrooke Swim Club in East Hartford. In addition to breaking a number of club records, he has held the CAAPSC league record in the boys 12/under 50 free and 50 fly since 2010. Rob went on to swim for Laurel East Hartford YMCA and Manchester High School, where he was a YMCA National Qualifier and school record holder. He was a captain and CIAC All-State team his junior and senior years. After high school, Rob swam Division 1 at the University of Delaware where he studied marketing and he is currently an assistant swim coach at the Indian Valley YMCA. Coach Rob is back for his 3rd season coaching the Sharks! hopes to bring his knowledge and love of the sport to SWSTC!
DAN SAVIDGE
Coach Dan grew up in South Windsor and has a history of 14 years swimming with the Sharks. He has broken numerous individual and relay records at SWSTC as well as within the CAAPSC league. Dan is a graduate student at RPI where he has been captain of the swim team for the past two seasons. He is looking forward to coaching and helping out this season.
